The Exploratory List
Figuring out which college environment you would most thrive in can be a daunting task. Are you drawn to the hustle and bustle of a large, public research university, or the intimacy of a small liberal arts college? Do you see yourself spending the weekends exploring the wilderness surrounding your rural college, or perhaps you’d prefer roaming through a big city? Could you see yourself succeeding at a religiously affiliated college, or a single-gender college, or an HBCU? Public vs. private, core curriculum vs. open curriculum – these are just some of the factors to consider when choosing a college. Our experts will help you sort through your options, then compile a preliminary college list of schools designed to solidify your preferences.

Jessica was able to help me craft a list of colleges that was much more comprehensive and representative of what I wanted out of my college education … [She] was instrumental in helping me to understand how the admissions process actually worked, and what colleges were looking for … I am very excited to be attending the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in the fall on a full-ride merit scholarship, and I definitely have Jess to thank.

Our experts can help make sure your supplements stand out – and not because you said your favorite word was “defenestrate.”
College admissions interviews are your one chance for colleges to get to know you as more than a piece of paper, so it’s important to make the most of it. Our Bulldog consultants will help you craft answers to the most difficult interview questions, then hone your interviewing technique through mock interviews.

[Jessica’s] input and assistance were invaluable, and my son gained early admission to Yale, his top choice college … At each step of the process, she served, alternatively, as a cheerleader, tough coach, and neutral critic. While being encouraging, she still provided clear and accurate information, and never sugarcoated what needed to be accomplished to improve application odds … Quite simply, finding Jessica was like stumbling across the key to the vault.”
