Bulldog Tutors is reaching out to families in Connecticut and beyond to help students navigate the challenges presented by social distancing measures being taken to protect our health, safety, and well-being as the nation struggles with the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.

Equipped to work with students remotely via the use of technology, our Ivy League-educated tutors help students excel in academic subjects, and prepare them to excel on the SAT, ACT, SSAT, LSAT, and MCAT admissions tests, among others.

While we’re not able to offer our professional tutoring and test prep services for free, we will make sure each family is able to take advantage of tailored arrangements that are accessible and affordable.

Mike Newcomer, founder of Bulldog Tutors

We take seriously our mission of empowering students to prepare for, and achieve, an optimal educational future, and we feel a responsibility to do our part to ensure students have access to resources they need to succeed as educational continuity is challenged by schools being closed.

School closures that are now temporary, we fear, will become permanent through the end of this academic term. But students in pre-calculus this year will transition into calculus next year, no matter how prepared they are.

Similarly, the clock will keep ticking on the schedule for college admissions. Students must be prepared to forge ahead when things get back to normal. That means prepping for the SAT or ACT college admissions exams, for example. It means getting more creative than usual in building a winning student profile, in researching colleges and creating a strong college list, and in preparing to submit an application that will result in acceptance letters from top schools.
